FEATURED CURLY!

*Prairie General Hammrich , ABC/ICHO eligible, 2006, Dun Gelding, 15 hh. General is smart and sensitive, a thinker. His experience level is groundwork and lightly started under saddle.  I would classify him as a steady Eddy.  He is not reactionary given new situations and tends to watch and listen to see whether a reaction is warranted!  Given some time and experience, this guy will just get sweeter with age.  He has the temperament and personality to be a great beginners horse.  My wish for General is to find a family where there are children to lavish the love on him and appreciate him for the gentle soul that he is.  Put the time and energy into him to help him realize his greatness! $2750 CAN

*WCC Rose, curly sabino mare, 1993, ABC 1722, 15h. Rose was our first ever curly horse and is the bedrock of our mare herd. She had a leg injury a few years back so although she is broke to ride she is being sold as a brood mare only. She has a beautiful face, expressive large eyes and a stellar hip that she has passed on to all her offspring. She is an excellent caring mom and socializes her babies very well. She loves having her tummy scratched so much that she is able to contort herself to make it more accessible for you. This mare has more quality foals in her to offer her new family. We have bred her to three different stallions and the foals have always been top quality. This is a great opportunity to add an excellent quality mare to your breeding herd at rock bottom prices! $2,000 CAN

TOC Ginger Spice, 2007 smooth coated chestnut filly. 15h. Ginger is a sweet slightly shy filly that impresses us more each day as she grows. She has soft bunny fur feel body hair and a full mane and tail. Her coloring is red roan which is not real common in the curly world. Although she missed out on some curls she has not missed out on any of the other characteristics that we all love so much about our Curly Horses! Respectful, gentle and willing to please, so it will not take much to get this filly under saddle. She will have good size...we anticipate around the 15.2 hh mark. This filly has sound ground manners in-hand. $3,000

*Prairie Mona Lisa Curl, 2006 Sooty Buckskin mare, 15.2h Mona takes our breath away with her presence. She is turning into a majestic mare and we have started her gently under saddle this past fall and she has a gentle soul. She has a caring demeanor and with her sound conformation and great size she is a powerful addition to a future mare herd.   My wish for Mona is to find a home where gentleness and caring are second nature.  Soft hands and loving words to sooth jittery nerves away. Pedigree

SOLD!

*Prairie High Molly Twist, 2004 Curly Chestnut mare. 14.2h ABC 3373. Molly has outstanding curl, wonderful temperament and sound conformation. Well broke to ride and getting some wonderful trail miles put on her. She is non-spooky in unfamiliar situations. Suitable for beginner to advanced rider. This little filly will make somebody a loyal and loving mount. Molly has had a few hours put on her by a professional trainer who is willing to talk to anybody who is interested in this lovely filly. She loves having a job to do and comes running when you have the halter as if to say....."me pick me". We had a green rider take her in our annual 25 mile trail ride through hills, over water, across bridges, etc. I would say that Molly is suitable for advanced to beginner because of her desire to please. Pedigree.

SOLD!
*Prairie Miss Demeaner, 2001 Yellow Dun, extreme mare, ABC 2959. MissD is a wonderful mare and caring attentive mom. She has thrown some exceptional foals for us and now she's a favourite riding horse. We have been using her for trail rides and kids lessons and she is a natural. She has the nicest temperament, loves people and is confident in unfamiliar situations. She is a yellow dun extreme mare with the extreme curly characteristics that seem par for the course! When little kids are around she has her head down at their level lapping up their hugs and kisses. We wouldn't be sad if she stayed here but have offered her for sale in the interim just in case her dream family is out their looking for her. Pedigree. $4,000 CAN
BNC Miss Fancy Velvet, 2000 Smooth coated sooty buckskin mare. 15h. ABC S-574.Fancy is a pretty mare with unusual coloring. She has been a wonderful brood mare for us producing some top quality foals. She is registered as a bay but with her 2010 foal being a buckskin we know that she carries a cream gene in there somewhere so her coloring would be sooty buckskin. She has smoky grey eyes, deep soft bunny fur feel body hair, and one of the prettiest faces I have seen on a curly horse. She is friendly, an excellent mom, easy to work with, and has a gentle caring temperament. We have not started her saddle training yet but depending on when she finds a new family...this is definitely in the cards for her. Pedigree. $4,000 CAN.
*Prairie Leroy, 2010 Chestnut GELDING 13h. Halter broke, stands for the farrier and vet. Not registered. Pedigree. $1000 CAN
*Prairie Serenity, AKA Serena, Bay, Filly, DOB May 25, 2009, Est. 15 hh, halter broke, ICHO eligible.   Serena is a friendly calm filly..at times she seems "wise beyond her years" or "an old soul". She is slightly smaller in stature than her sisters so we think that she will finish out around the 15 hh mark. She is a dark bay with exceptional curl, full mane and tail, and a pretty face. Her easy going temperament will make for a nice family horse or trail buddy. Her movement is more level and less animated than Breezy but she still has the sound conformation, great bone and athleticism. $1250 CAN
*Prairie Breeze, AKA Breezy, Bay, Filly, DOB May 29, 2009, Est. 15.2 hh,  halter broke. International registry eligible.   Breezy is an engaging friendly filly that loves being the center of attention ALL THE TIME! She is bold, fearless and a bit pesky. When you think of a brisk breeze..that's what she's like...I really did not think that way when I named her but that is definitely the way she is turning out.lol. She loves to run and play and usually is in the center of any altercation in the herd! She is tall and athletic with sound conformation and straight bone. She has lovely deep curls and a full mane and tail. She is a classic bay with a beautiful wide blaze and expressive eyes. With her willing to please attitude, it will not take much to have her going lightly under saddle. $1500 CAN

Prairie Pharoh, Bay colt, DOB May 29, 2009, Est. 15.1 hh, ABC & ICHO eligible straight division. Pharoh is shy and reserved.....could be because of his sassy sisters who are always bossing him around.  He has the prettiest face and nicest hip!

SOLD!
*Prairie BeBe Curl, Bay, filly, DOB June 13, 2009, Est. 16+hh, halter broke, ICHO eligible.  Tall, as sweet as they come and majestic start to describe this filly but even those words fall short describing BeBe...she has a presence and demeanour about her that whispers "winner". She has straight solid bone, sound conformation and a wonderful willing friendly attitude. To top all the under stuff she has amazing curl, full mane and tail and a beautiful face. I have no fear that whoever snaps this filly up will have a wonderful willing partner in pretty much anywhere they want to take her! We anticipate that BeBe will finish out over the 16 hh mark . $1500 CAN
Prairie Running Man , ABC/ICHO eligible, 2008, Grulla GELDING, est. 15 hh, halter broke.  Running Man was born running....hence his name. His mom was still lying down and he was doing laps around the paddock with the rest of the herd following behind him....it really was amazing to see. He is friendly and has such a sweet face. Smooth coat with bunny fir feel. His build is fine and refined. This is the last foal for US Abby as she has been retired to riding now. He has excellent Warrior/Hammrich breeding. $1,000 CAN

*Prairie Royal Roxy Roller , ICHO eligible, 2006, Chestnut Sabino Filly, 14.3 hh. Roxy is a beautiful spirited filly with a friendly want to please attitude. She is from my Raven mare and stole my heart when she was just hours old..she is sensitive yet sensible. She has beautiful curls year round, full mane and tail and sound conformation. Her movement is up yet smooth. She is well socialized in a herd situation and is now just waiting for her new family to finish her training and start riding her. $2,500 CAN

*Prairie Hawk MockaMyLatte , ABC B656 ¾, 2005 Chocolate mare, 14.3 hh. "Mocka is our resident "War Horse". She reminds me so much of the paintings and murals of horses from way back when. She is solid and this girl can move! Lovely floating trot, has started her saddle training and is making some nice progress. A few words I would use to describe Mocka are: friendly, energetic, bold, fearless, and trusting. There is a strength to this mare on the inside too....she reminds me a lot of her grandmother Sofie who is being used for Equine Therapy for at-risk youth.....when you look into her eyes you see a wise old soul.
$2,500 CAN

*Prairie Kid Einstein , ABC/ICHO eligible, 2007, Bay Sabino gelding. 14.1 hh. "Einstein will mature as a large pony. He is a nice guy and loves attention. He sometimes forgets about personal space though so we will continue to work on his ground manners. He is very bold and fearless. This guy is the epitome of "in your pocket". If he could he would sit on your couch with a bowl of popcorn and watch TV with you....! He loves to have his ears scratched and will lay his head on your shoulder for hours if your fingers will hold out.  My wish for Einstein is for a experienced but gentle child who loves to give and get great horse hugs.
Update! Started intensive training! $2,000 CAN

*Prairie Mighty Hercules , ICHO eligible, 2007, Bay Sabino gelding, 16.1 and STILL growing! Hercules is the biggest most layed back puppy dog on the farm. His bone is very substantial with the widest knees I have ever seen on a curly. He is easy going and a big love bug with the most wonderful Marcel wave summer coat.......it is amazing.....last summer he was actually getting CURLIER as the summer progressed. He is a cross between a draft cross TWH and curly.  My wish for Hercules is for him to achieve greatness as a Hunter/Jumper..legionary status..somebody who has the vision and the fortitude to help him get there! $4,500

If interested buyers can call the trainer (Connie) for more information about this awesome boy! (306) 634-6444 .

*Kid's Cup-O-Cheno Twist , ABC B536 1/2, 2000, Chocolate Sabino Mare, 13.3 hh.  Cheno is so amazing, we decided that she needed to start her saddle training since she was not having a foal and so we just got on her one day and started riding her. Our Handler could not believe it and says that nobody back home believes her when she tells them her Curly stories. Cheno still needs a lot more work under saddle before I would class her as anything other than green but she has the potential to be a great riding horse with her willingness to please. I had someone inquire into whether she would make a good wagon pony and I think that would be a SUPER job for her.
Update! Started intensive training! $1,500 CAN
