*Roanie, 2004 curly mare, ICHO 819-D, 14.3h, Sabino roan chestnut. is thoroughly trained, extensively ridden on trails, used for lessons, exhibited and ridden at the Minnesota State Fair. She also performs several tricks, lays down on command, sits on her butt, mounts a pedestal with two or four feet and comes on remote control command. *Pinky, a 2008 curly champagne/red dun filly. 15.1h. Rare filly with color, class, size, pedigree and lots of soft curls with mane and tail. Started riding with tons of ground work accomplished. Her grandma (Cowboy Cha Cha) was one of my Canterbury Park race horses, a speed demon who ran away from the field in a sprint race on opening day of 1998. $Private Treaty

*Zorse is a 2007 grulla gelding, 15h. Not yet registereed. Zorse has all the grulla/zebra-like markings that make him look like zorseish...therefore, his name. He's broke to ride and do tricks. Marcel waves over his whole body, mane and tail retained. $Private Treaty

Patch The Pony is a 1993 pony, 11h and although not a curly she was exposed to a black Curly stallion (Roots) during the 2009 breeding season. (photo of her with her 2009 curly black colt sold to Indiana) She has had four colts (two Curlies) since I've bought her for trick training. All nice--and sold. Patch can walk on her back legs on command and perform other birthday party tricks. She's been in parades, performances, is kid gentle and broke to ride and drive. $Private Treaty

*Brick, 2008 curly gelding. 14.3h. Not registered. Built like a Brick and Curly bred through and through. Brick is out of the same mare as Bunny. His sire is also Curly. He's broke to ride, is obedient, does some tricks and is placidly Curly. $Private Treaty

*Quizzy, a 2008 curly gelding, expected height 15h. Not registered. Marcel wave with mane/tail. Quizzy has a question mark marking on his face, but there's no question about his quality, either stallion or gelding. I don't need him as a breeding horse. *Pooches a 2009 curly red dun pinto colt. ICHO 819-D. Est. height 15h at maturity. Pooches combines black pinto saddlebred breeding with red dun Curly. Oscar Johnson, an extreme Curly, is his sire. Pooches is the cutest. $Private Treaty

*Montage, 2007 curly pintaloosa black and white mare. Not yet registered. 14.3h. A rare montage of color gave this filly her name. Now she's broke to ride and a totally lovely representative of three different breeds, Curly, Paint and Appaloosa. She has tight ringlets over her whole body with an ample mane and tail. Her pleasant attitude traces directly to her dam, Patticake, an extreme Curly, that is human-like and likes humans. $Private Treaty

*Patticake, a 2004 paint black/white curly mare. ICHO registered. 14.2h. Patticake is an extreme Curly who has already produced three foals with lots of curls, two sired by non-Curly stallions. *Andrea, 2005 curly mare, stands 14.2h. ICHO registered. Chestnut, near leopard appaloosa curly. High colored Curly with Sheldak breeding on sire's side and Damele breeding on mare's side. Her sire, Scandinavian, was born on the Sheldak Appaloosa Ranch near Sheldon, North Dakota. Her dam, Lacey's Windy May, was one of Elmer Johnson's select homozygous Curly mares. Elmer's grand daughter remembered traveling to Nevada to pick up Colonel Bay Blaze, who was to become an icon of the Curly breed and the great grandsire of Andrea. $3,500

She was one of those rare tame sane Thoroughbreds who produced runners with brains. When I dispersed my TBs, Joe Bob's mother was the only TB kept. *Elmer Johnson, a 2004 Red Dun Gelding, 14.3h. ICHO Registered. Elmer is the last colt born during the life of the Curly horseman named Elmer Johnson. Therefore, the name of this gelding. Elmer is broke for the most timid rider and can stand a day's work on the ranch, trail or ring. Last summer/fall, Elmer earned his oats at a Minnesota Harvest Apple Orchard, where he carried whoever needed the fun, kids/grownups/special people/ramrods. They all loved this horse who gave of himself for the enjoyment of anyone who stuck a foot in the stirrup. Best of all, he requires no mollycoddling. $3,500
